I’ve built several outdoor and indoor dining tables that feature this classic trestle leg design. The vertical legs are made of anodized aluminum. The top and trestles are made of iroko, which is in the teak family. Its high natural oil content makes it resistant to rot, decay, and insect attack. It is thus a perfect choice for outdoor use.
