Finishing

The function of the tools I use and how they work are explained here. Specific tools used are noted in bold.

The wood is finished with a water based urethane (Enduro-Var). The interior of the van is masked off before spraying the wall and ceiling panels. The two coats of finish are applied using a HVLP sprayer. The first coat is buffed with a 3M abrasive pad before applying the second coat.
